We heard you. The biggest friction point in signing up for a free trial was being asked for payment info upfront. That is now gone. You can create an account, start your trial, and explore every feature of THOR Storm Mapper without entering a single digit of card information.
What Changed
Previously, Stripe's checkout flow collected payment details at signup even when a free trial was active. We updated our checkout configuration so that trial users are taken directly into the app — no payment form, no card number, no expiration date. Stripe will reach out before your trial ends if you decide to continue with a paid plan.

What to Test During Your 14-Day Trial
Start with a market your team already knows. Run a scan for a recent storm window, open the reported events, and use Timeline Replay to review the weather context alongside the map. That gives you a practical first look at how THOR organizes official storm reports around the place where you work.
Then compare the areas in the result set with Market Priority. It adds population and housing context to the storm events already on the map, so you can sort a broad result set by the residential measures that matter to your team without changing the underlying weather data.
If you work from an existing lead list, import a small CSV or add a lead pin directly on the map. Turn on Lead Storm Monitor, choose the local or Area Monitor coverage that fits the address, and review the alert settings. You can also browse the public hail maps by state before signing in and use the FAQ for setup details.
