Timeline Replay feels more deliberate in the field
Timeline Replay now has a cleaner path from a completed scan into the storm view. Open the timeline, follow the weather through its active window, scrub to the moment you need, close it, and return to the map without breaking your rhythm. Radar context, hail swaths, and event markers stay focused on the selected replay window so the story of the storm is easier to read.
That gives crews a more practical way to review a storm before planning a route, choosing a territory, or opening the event detail behind a lead.
The same storm footprint on every screen
A hail swath should mean the same thing whether you are looking at it on an iPad in the field, a phone between stops, or a desktop back at the office. THOR now keeps the selected outbreak footprint consistent across those screens while presenting it in a way that is easier for each device to handle.
Use the larger iPad display for a wider corridor view, then pull out your phone later and return to the same storm picture, the same evidence, and the same next decision.
A cleaner iPad map before and after a scan
The map chrome now feels more intentional before a scan begins. The secondary map surface stays in place, so the layout does not jump or leave an awkward empty band. Once storm data is loaded, the relevant layer controls and settings appear where you expect them.
We also refined the top edge of the iPhone and iPad experience so the app header sits more naturally beneath the device status area. The result is a more finished field screen with less visual noise around the map.
Helpful guidance that leaves when you are ready
Satellite View, map onboarding, scan guidance, cached-map status, GPS, long-press, and zoom help now use a more consistent THOR treatment. The cards share the same dark map surface, clear typography, and restrained cyan accents instead of feeling like separate UI fragments.
On iPhone and iPad, you can swipe a help card away when you are done with it. The original guidance remains available in its intended order, but it no longer has to sit over the map once you know what to do.
