THOR Business Teams gives a larger roofing office one shared storm workspace without turning every user into an administrator. A business owner can add the people who work storms, leads, reports, and follow-up together while keeping ownership clear.
Storm work moves through an office quickly. One person may find the corridor, another may work the lead list, and a third may generate a property report before an inspection. Until now, that work could be split across separate accounts or a single login. THOR Business Teams is built for the better middle ground: individual real accounts for the people doing the work, with one business owner responsible for the team workspace and its paid seats.
Who THOR Business Teams is for
Business Teams is for roofing offices with more than one person using storm intelligence. That can mean an owner and a canvassing manager, a production coordinator and multiple field representatives, or a growing office that needs everyone to work from the same lead and storm-hit picture without sharing passwords or giving every user destructive control over everyone else’s work.
Each active team member has a real THOR account and full access to the core application: nationwide storm research, hail, tornado and wind context, radar, maps, reports, and the field workflow. The difference is that the business owner can connect those accounts to the same operational lead pool.
One shared lead pool, with clear ownership
Every lead created by a team member belongs to the business team’s shared lead pool. Team members can see the team’s leads and the storm-hit information connected to those addresses, so an office is not blind to work already happening in the same market. The lead record also shows who created it and when.
| Role | What that person can do |
|---|---|
| Business owner | View the full team lead pool, manage any team lead, invite or remove members, review team analytics, and import or export the organization’s full lead pool. |
| Team member | View shared team leads and storm hits, create new leads, and edit or delete only leads they created. |
The rule is simple: only the lead creator and the business owner can edit or delete that lead. A team member never receives permission to destructively change a peer’s lead. That keeps the shared map useful for the whole office while preserving accountability for the person managing the record.
Lead Storm Monitor now gives each person a direct My Leads view as well as the shared team pool. The business owner also gets a Team Management view for member, lead-ownership, creation-time, and storm-hit visibility. Business owners alone can import or export the complete team lead pool, including compatible THOR, Spotio, and SalesRabbit CSV layouts.
Private reports for members; office visibility for the owner
Reports work differently from leads on purpose. Each team member keeps a private report library: team members do not see another member’s Property Storm History Reports, Storm Reports, or Hail History Reports. The business owner can view organization reports with the creator username shown, so office leadership can understand what was created without blurring authorship or peer-to-peer privacy.
The report creator keeps control of the report’s working actions. Business Team visibility is for review and continuity, not for a team member to alter someone else’s report.
How the Business Team price works
Your normal THOR subscription remains the business owner’s base plan. Then you add only the active people who need their own login and access to the team workspace. There is no fixed team-size cap.
| Item | Price and billing cadence |
|---|---|
| Business owner’s THOR subscription | The existing THOR base subscription, monthly or annual. |
| Additional active team member | $15/month for each additional active team member. |
Team seats are always billed monthly. That means the additional-member charge stays monthly even when the business owner uses an annual base subscription. Members do not need their own separate base plan. A member’s access begins only after the secure member-seat checkout succeeds, and removing a member is scheduled for the end of the paid period rather than deleting their work.
How to start a Business Team
- Create or use your THOR owner account. Every paid THOR account can act as the owner of its own business team; this is separate from THOR’s internal platform-administrator role.
- Open Account Settings. Enter the employee’s work email and choose Add seat.
- Complete secure Stripe checkout for the $15 monthly seat. The invitation becomes available once payment succeeds.
- Your teammate accepts the invitation with their verified THOR recovery email. They can sign in with their own username/password or an eligible linked Google account.
- Work from the shared lead pool. Use My Leads for a personal queue, use the team pool for the office picture, and let the business owner use Team Management for oversight.
Built for the office that wants to move together
Business Teams is not a separate, watered-down plan. It is a way to put multiple real THOR users into one storm and canvassing workflow. The office can research storms together, see the shared lead and storm-hit picture, keep lead ownership clear, preserve report privacy, and export the team’s operational lead data when the business owner needs it.
Start with a THOR account, then add the people who need to use the system with you. Start a THOR trial or sign in to set up your Business Team.
Frequently asked questions about THOR Business Teams
Does every team member get a full THOR account?
Yes. Each active paid member has their own account and can use THOR’s core storm, map, radar, reporting, and field tools. They do not need a separate base subscription.
Can team members see each other’s leads?
Yes. Leads and storm-hit information are shared across the business team. A member can create leads and manage only their own; the business owner can manage every team lead.
Can team members see each other’s reports?
No. Each member sees only their own reports. The business owner can review organization reports, and THOR displays the creator username so ownership remains clear.
Is a Business Team owner the same as a THOR platform administrator?
No. The Business Team owner is an administrator for that company’s team only. It does not grant platform-wide THOR administrator permissions.
